A Update on our life

I have been supper busy with my consignment sale. I can't believe next week we will start drop-off. I am very excited about having a new place to hold my sale. It is 14,000 sq ft and in a prime location. I took on new consignors because my rent went up A LOT. I did NOT take more consignors for more profit but more to help cover SOME of the cost. Everything is going well. I think I have about 150 volunteers for this sale which is GREAT! I do ask that you lift us up in prayer. The sale is a tremendous amount of work and stress on my family. I do give thanks to GOD that he has given me the ability to coordinate such a huge ministry. YES our sale is also a ministry. The money helps my family and others of course! We give a percentage to Statesville Pregnancy Resource Center. MANY families also donate their unsold items to the Center and Iredell Foster Care. God has truly bless us and many others for that reason.

The kids are doing great! Caroline and Robert raced in the Derby Race at our Church last week. Her car did really well. She did not win but was close with the other winning cars. She also did a mission project. She made blankets for Children who have been in a fire or car wreck. She took them to the fire dept and the firemen thought her mission project was unique and GREAT! I will say she did ALL the mission project by herself even the presentation.. The only thing I did not like was how competitive the derby was. Caroline was OK with not winning but I hated too see the defeat on the other kids faces. You could even feel the tension between families and Dad's during the race. Our family will have to pray if we should continue participating if the derby will always be this way. I thought the whole event should had been centered about the mission project but I found it was more about winning. I admit I caught up in the winning part myself. Not healthy for the spiritual aspect of the event. Allyson just finished up with basketball . Her team did great! They did not win State but had a good season. Allyson just loves her school ( Southview Christian) . We are very blessed to see her grow with her walk with our Savior as a teen. She is surrounded by so many young ladies that love God too. Elijah is getting ready to play T-BALL! He will have the best coach at Peninsula Baptist... Hid DADDY! I know I am a little bias when it comes to my men! I am doing OK.. This past few weeks I have been under tremendous stress. I have even develop symptoms of stress. It have develop a eye twitch, anxiety, and I am very fatigue. I really don't think it has all to do with the sale.I think it is more a combination of things in my life. I lost my sister-in law just a few weeks ago. I have been helping my brother. My parents health have both declined even more in the last month. I am also very involved with ministry in my Church. This week I had to say the words I CAN'T which is not easy for someone who thinks she can. I edited the Children's curricula at our Church for grade 1-4. April should be start on this week and it just hit me that I could not do it the way it should be done. So I had to let our Children's Pastor know that he needed to do it. I felt bad because I am a I can person. But I need to learn to say the words I can't more often. Thankfully Pastor Josh seemed to understand this lifted a huge burden off my shoulders. Will one of my friends get me in check and tell me when I am over doing my life and my family life! God I am a work in progress for sure!
